Yesterday, my fellow graduate students and I gave talks about some of our investigations of various ecosystem functions on Niwot Ridge. This week I am attending a small workshop in Lausanne Switzerland (on beautiful Lake Geneva, above) to meet with the some fellow researchers who study mountain ecosystems in the Alps. I am here with several of my colleagues from the Niwot Ridge LTER site.
