We used this dome made by Shelter Systems to measure carbon dioxide and water vapor flux between the atmosphere and the biosphere. The dome is sealed over the wooden base rings (seen in foreground), and an infrared gas analyzer is used to measure the buildup or drawdown of the two gases.
