CHAPTER II. BUDAPEST

In Budapest, we were welcomed by Nadia. Nadia was studying math in Hungary, where there are many great mathematicians. The ledge she is sitting on--in front of the Statue of the Anonymous, sculpted of an unknown scholar who recorded the history of the early Magyars--was a favorite thinking spot for the legendary Hungarian mathematician Paul Erdos. Make no mistake of this photograph: Nadia is destined for greatness.
